GTK + is a multi-platform toolkit for creating graphical user interfaces. It offers a complete set of widgets.

GTK+ is suitable for small one-off projects as well as for complete application suites.

It is needed to run programs based in GTK+ environment. The gimp, Gnome or Glade are the most famous applications based on GTK+ .

It is based on Glib, Pango and ATK and has become famous thanks to its relationship with The Gimp.
